From school year 2011-12 onwards, the two week October break will take place in the second and third weeks of that month. This means that, for session 2011-12 , the October holiday will take place from Monday 10 October to Friday 21 October 2011, both dates inclusive.

Eastern Primary's rugby team at Murrayfield

On Saturday the 2nd June 2007, our P6+7 rugby team went through to Murrayfield to compete in another rugby competition.
The rugby team took 12 players with them, 7 were on at one time and they had 5 subs.

There were 6 different groups and in each group there were 4 teams so every team played 3 teams.

The competition was all about fairplay and was run by Jim Telfer, the former Scotland rugby coach.

The team did very well and came in second place!
