| STATEMENT OF SCHOOL AIMS 1. Provide each pupil with a broad and balanced curriculum in a caring, stimulating and safe environment. 2. Develop the interest and abilities of each child to his/her potential, irrespective of gender, race, beliefs or disability and lay the foundations of the necessary skills to meet the challenges of the present and the future. 3. Create a safe, caring and nurturing environment for all pupils to maximise learning opportunities which will develop self-esteem, confidence and independence. 4. Support all staff in their own professional development ensuring they are confident and competent in delivering the 5-14 curriculum. 5. Fully endorse parents as partners and promote the school's links within the community. 6. Foster understanding, consideration and respect for others and for the environment.
