Hallowe'en Fun

P1's have been doing story writing and here are 2 examples of p1s stories.

"Yesterday we made a pumpkin. We cut the head then we scooped out the seeds with a spoon. Then we cut out the eyes with a knife and then the nose. Then we cut out the mouth with the knife. Then we lit the candle inside the pumpkin and put the lid back on. The pumpkin was scary."

We made a pumpkin for the Halloween disco. First we cut off the head then we scooped out all the seeds .  Then we put the seeds in the bin.  Then we carved it's mouth, the nose and the eyes with a knife.  Then we put the candle in it.  Then we put the lid back on.  I think the pumpkin is good and scary.

Show and Tell ....

Louise brought in her bag and puppy for show and tell. Her puppy was special because her Mummy and Papa got it. Her bag was special because she got it from France and it had flowers on it. I liked her bag because it had a card in it.

by Rachel

Alex brought in a book and a doll. The book was special because she likes it when her Mum reads it to her. Alex likes playing with the doll and she likes her hair and her clothes. I liked both of Alex's special things.

by Bronagh

Tom brought in his picture of him swimming at Centre Parks. He was with his Mum and his Dad. It was a special picture because he had it for a long time. I liked it because it was a good photo and because I'd been to Centre Parks too!
