Help us to help you...

30th Sep 2019

All staff work diligently to ensure the safety of your children.

For the vast majority of you in our school community, Facebook is used sensibly to meet up with old friends, keep in touch and share pictures.

Sadly, it has become a huge problem when misused; what is written on Facebook is often not as private as we might like to think and messages can often cause unnecessary hurt or upset.

Going directly to Facebook about incidents between children in school can cause more harm than good and has a negative impact upon them. It is vitally important that you contact school first and raise your concerns. In this eway we can investigate and solve problems before they get bigger.

Making sure all of your children have a positive and fun school experience is what we are here for. When things go wrong, please let us know so we can put it right.

Eastern Primary has a comprehensive complaints procedure which can be found here on the website, http://easternprimary.co.uk/documentlink/27/?open=true which outlines school procedures and what to do when things go wrong.

Finally, it is of paramount importance that you do not approach other's children - this could be seen as threatening. In this instance we would advise that the police are called using 101.

The better we work together, the better the outcome is for your child, and the more they are able to learn and enjoy their school.
